Abstract:
An air conditioner and a cooling control method therefor. The air conditioner comprises a plurality of air guide plates (50), which are used for guiding an upward air output angle and a downward air output angle of an air outlet (12). The cooling control method comprises the following steps: after an enable instruction for an intelligent temperature control mode is received, entering an initial cooling stage, taking a first target temperature as a target cooling temperature, and making the air guide plates (50) perform reciprocating swinging within the maximum range; when a first switching condition is met, switching the air conditioner from the initial cooling stage to an intermediate cooling stage, making the target cooling temperature higher than the first target temperature, and making the air guide plates (50) rotate to an upward air guide angle; and when a second switching condition is met, switching the air conditioner from the intermediate cooling stage to a stable operation stage, making the target cooling temperature higher than the first target temperature, and closing some air guide plates (50). Therefore, intelligent energy-saving control over an air conditioner is achieved, thereby increasing the cooling speed, and also meeting the comfort requirement of a user.
