Abstract:
An air conditioner and a cooling control method therefor. The cooling control method for the air conditioner comprises the following steps: once a startup instruction of an intelligent temperature control mode is received, entering an initial cooling stage, in which a preset first target temperature is used as a target cooling temperature; when a preset first switching condition is met, switching the air conditioner from the initial cooling stage to an intermediate cooling stage, the target cooling temperature of the intermediate cooling stage being higher than the first target temperature; and when a preset second switching condition is met, switching the air conditioner from the intermediate cooling stage to a preset PMV mode. Intelligent energy-saving control of the air conditioner is implemented, and not only is the cooling speed increased, but comfort requirements of a user are also met.
