Abstract:
In order to remove a filter from an air conditioner indoor unit in which a front panel opens and closes, a user must open the front panel manually. Depending on the configuration of the model, this operation is difficult. Therefore, this air conditioner (10) comprises: a heat exchanger (14); a fan (13); a filter (34); a housing (50); a first panel (11) capable of moving between a first position covering the front surface of the housing (50) and a second position away from the font surface of the housing (50); a panel transfer mechanism (21) capable of moving the first panel (11) from the first position to the second position; and a control unit (2) which, when a first switch (101) is operated by a user while the air-conditioning operation is stopped, controls the panel transfer mechanism (21) and moves the first panel (11) from the first position to the second position while the fan (13) remains stopped.
