Abstract:
Provided is an air conditioner wherein standby energy can be reduced without using a large component such as a relay or an auxiliary power unit. When the air conditioner receives a halt command from a remote control, a first switch (21) and a second switch (22) are turned off by a command from an outdoor microcomputer (43), and the supply of power from a commercial power supply (C.P) to a compressor driving motor (27) and a fan motor (28) is halted. At the same time, a low-dropout voltage regulator (37) is turned off by a command from the outdoor microcomputer (43), and the supply of power from a transformer (34) for an outdoor control power source to an inverter control unit (38), a fan motor control unit (39), and an actuator (40), is halted.
