Abstract:
This air conditioner is provided with: an input means for inputting a usage time and a stop time for the air conditioner in a demand period; and a control means. When the usage time and the stop time are input via the input means, the control means calculates the power consumption required during the demand period, and calculates, on the basis of the inputted usage time and stop time, the frequency of a compressor until the usage time elapses. The control means operates the compressor at the calculated frequency until the usage time elapses, and forcibly stops the compressor during the stop time after the usage time elapses.
