Abstract:

This air conditioner (1) includes: a main control unit (8); a motor driving control unit (9); and an inverter output unit (12) which outputs, to a motor (7), a signal for rotating the motor (7) on the basis of a control performed by the motor driving control unit (9). The main control unit (8) transmits, to the motor driving control unit (9), an instruction for rotating the motor (7) for each first time. The motor driving control unit (9) outputs, to the inverter output unit (12), an instruction for rotating the motor (7) on the basis of the instruction from the main control unit (8), and outputs, to the inverter output unit (12), an instruction for continuing an operation based on the instruction which is for rotating the motor (7) and which has been most recently received from the main control unit (8), when a new instruction for rotating the motor (7) has not been received from the main control unit (8) until the elapse of a first time from when the instruction for rotating the motor (7) was last received from the main control unit (8).
