Abstract:
The outdoor unit of an air conditioner according to an embodiment is equipped with: first and second branch channels (P1a, P1b) through which outdoor air (A3) flows; and a main channel that connects to the indoor unit. The outdoor unit is also equipped with: first and second heaters (58, 60) that are disposed in the first and second branch channels (P1a, P1b) and allow passage of the outdoor air (A3); and an absorbent material that is disposed in the main channel and allows passage of the outdoor air (A3). The outdoor unit is also equipped with a fan that is disposed in the portion of the main channel downstream from the absorbent material and generates a flow of the outdoor air (A3) toward the indoor unit. The outdoor unit is also equipped with a communication path (P1d) that allows communication between the portion of the first branch channel (P1a) upstream from the first heater (58) and the portion of the second branch channel (P1b) upstream from the second heater (60) and passes through the vicinity of the first heater (58) and second heater (60).
