Abstract:
This air conditioner is provided with a cross-flow fan (14) that comprises a cylindrical boss section (14c) at one end in the direction of extension of a rotation centerline (Cf). The air conditioner also has a fixing screw (32) for pressing a drive shaft (34a) of a motor (34) that has entered an internal space (R) of the boss section (14c) toward an inner peripheral surface (14f) of the boss section (14c). The internal space (R) has a shape in which, when the drive shaft (34a) is clamped between the distal end of the fixing screw (32) and the inner peripheral surface (14f), the rotation centerline (Cm) of the motor (34) and the rotation centerline (Cf) of the cross-flow fan (14) are aligned on the same straight line, and a gap (S) is formed between the inner peripheral surface (14f) and a portion of the drive shaft (34a) on the opposite side of a portion that contacts the inner peripheral surface (14f).
