Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to simplify a configuration for outputting imaging data and low-resolution data. This solid-state imaging device comprises an imaging unit, a resolution converting unit, and a switching unit. The imaging unit creates imaging data. The resolution converting unit reduces the resolution of the imaging data to convert the same to low-resolution data. The switching unit switches between output of the imaging data and output of the low-resolution data on the basis of a setting of a specified region in an imaging region of the imaging unit. A region control unit for controlling the specified region in the imaging region of the imaging unit, and controlling switching of the switching unit on the basis of a position of the specified region may additionally be provided. A first memory for storing one row of low-resolution data generated by the resolution converting unit, and outputting the same to the switching unit, may additionally be provided.
