Abstract:
An air conditioner (1) comprises: an outdoor machine (2) that includes a first heat exchanger (200); and an indoor machine (3) that includes a second heat exchanger (300). The first heat exchanger (200) has a first heat transfer pipe (210) and a plurality of first fins (220). The second heat exchanger (300) has a second heat transfer pipe (310) and a plurality of second fins (320). The first heat transfer pipe (210), the first fins (220), the second heat transfer pipe (310), and the second fins (320) are made of aluminum or aluminum alloys. A first sacrificing layer (212) is provided on the surface of the first heat transfer pipe (210). The first sacrificing layer (212) has a less noble potential than a base material of the first heat transfer pipe (210), and has a less noble potential than than the first fins (220). The fin pitch (P1) of the first fins (220) is larger than the fin pitch (P2) of the second fins (220).
