Abstract:
An air conditioning apparatus (1a) comprises a heat-source-side unit (2), a plurality of usage-side units (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d), intermediate units (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d), and three or more connection conduits (5, 6, 7). The connection conduits (5, 6, 7) connect the heat-source-side unit (2) with the intermediate units (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d). The intermediate units (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d) each have an ejector (41a, 41b, 41c, 41d) and a gas-liquid separator (42a, 42b, 42c, 42d). The ejectors (41a, 41b, 41c, 41d) pressurize a coolant. Coolant that flows out from the ejectors (41a, 41b, 41c, 41d) flows into the gas-liquid separators (42a, 42b, 42c, 42d). Coolant that has released heat at the usage-side units (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d) performing heating operation is not pressurized by the ejectors (41a, 41b, 41c, 41d).
