Abstract:
An air conditioning device (1) includes a housing (4) and a cover (3). A gap (3a) is formed between the cover (3) and the housing (4). The housing (4) includes an indoor unit bay (17) in which are disposed an indoor-unit heat exchanger (24a, 24b) that performs heat exchange between air flowing in from a compartment of a railroad car and a refrigerant, and an indoor-unit fan (23a, 23b) that sends out air following heat exchange to the compartment, and a housing-side air introduction port (11a, 11b) for introducing air in the gap (3a) into the indoor unit bay (17). The cover (3) includes a side-face air introduction port (8a, 8b) for introducing air outside of the car into the gap (3a). The side-face air introduction port (8a, 8b) and the housing-side air introduction port (11a, 11b) are situated separated from each other to the front and rear in a direction of travel of the railroad car.
