Abstract:
This air conditioning system comprises an outdoor device that is a heat source apparatus, and an indoor device that performs air conditioning in a space to be air conditioned, the air conditioning system being such that the outdoor device has an outdoor device control unit that performs heat exchange between heating mediums and searches for a relay device to act as a relay for heat transfer between the outdoor device and the indoor device, and an outdoor device communication unit that communicates with an external unit, and moreover being such that the outdoor device control unit: transmits a first communication command from the outdoor device communication unit to a specific communication address; assesses, if a communication response is returned to the outdoor device communication unit, what is present at the specific communication address on the basis of an identification ID transmitted from the specific communication address to the outdoor device communication unit; sets the control subject as a relay device if it is assessed that what is present at the specific communication address is a relay device; and sets the control subject as the indoor device if it is assessed that what is present at the specific communication address is not a relay device, or if no communication response is returned to the outdoor device communication unit.
