Abstract:

An air conditioning system (100) comprises an air conditioning device (10) comprising an outdoor unit (20) and an indoor unit (30) that constitute a refrigerant circuit (RC), and a controller (70) to control the operation of the air conditioning device (10). The controller (70) does not start operation of the air conditioning device (10) if a signal is not input from either a ventilating device (40) that comprises a ventilating fan (43, 44) for ventilation and that ventilates a target space (SP) or a refrigerant leak sensor (60) that detects refrigerant leaks in the target space (SP). By virtue of the above, even with a configuration in which an air conditioning device and a ventilating device are installed independently, operation of the air conditioning device can be performed in a state in which countermeasures such as the ventilating device being operated when refrigerant leaks occur are reliably established and safety with respect to refrigerant leaks is reliably guaranteed.
