From the USA Patent Specification no. 59 32 147 there is known the car refreshener which is in the shape of the restyled tyre. The refreshener has a housing which is divided and there is a rotational propeller fastened on the axis in the part of the passage holes of the housing. The refreshing agent has the shape of a pressed solid tablet and is situated in one corner of the housing, it is exposed to the air inflow of the outlet. The refreshener housing is fastened into the outlet grid of the air by using a separate clip.

There is known from The Polish Utility Model Specification no W-108 942 the odorising block in the shape of a roller having inside the exchangeable odorising element. The fastening base of the odorising block and the covers are separable fastened and linked by the screw. The base of the odorising block is a wheel-plate having two cut-off walls on its perimeter and it has the flow holes in its back wall. The cover has a side surface with two rows of longitudinal incisions on its perimeter. The odorising block is fastened to the air outlet grid by two pairs of grips.

The subject matter of the invention is the air refreshener which is used preferable in the outlet of the air inflow channels in the car's cabin.

The air refreshener has inside an exchangeable scent insert, fastened by a clip in the air outlet grid. It has a roller comprising the base linked to the cover which has inside the exchangeable decorative cap The base has the passage hole having the perimeter protrusion and it has on the plane a number of passage holes. The outer perimeter of the base has the flange and the cover is in the shape of the annular having the rounded corner which ends into the perimeter recess. On the perimeter of the annular are placed three stoppers and the exchangeable cap has the passages of the air outlet and the holders.

The air refreshener has the hole which is in the central position in the base, and it has the decorative cap placed in the perimeter recess of the cover. The refreshener has the cover which has the parimeter chase near the fastening with the base and it co-operates with the flange of the base. The air refrehener has the protrusion in the hole of the base which co- operates with the recess pin of the clip.

The essential property of the invention is that, there is a possibility of exchanging the decorative cap which is placed into the solid base and linked to the cover, it provides the decorative effect of the refreshener.

The subject-matter of the invention is presented by the example of its embodiment in the picture where fig 1 presents the air refreshener having the decorative cap in the front view, fig 2 presents the air refreshener in the back view, fig 3 presents the A-A plane lateral half section of the air refreshener base which is shown in the fig 2, fig 4 presents the air refreshener in the front view after removing the decorative insert, fig 5 presents the B-B plane lateral half section shown in the fig 4, fig 6 presents the decorative cap from the fig 1 in the front view, fig 7 presents the C-C plane lateral half section of the decorative cap shown in the fig 6, fig 8 to fig 13 present exchangeable decorative caps festened in the cover, fig 14 presents the clip for fastening the air refreshener in the air outlet grid in the side view, fig 15 presents the clip for fastening the air refreshener in the air outlet grid in the top view.

The air refreshener which is fastened in the air outled grid is in the shape of a folding roller and it containes of : the base 1, the cover 2, the decorated exachangeable cap 3 and the fastening clip 4.

The base 1 is in the shape of a wheel plate having the passage hole 5 situated in the middle of the wheel plate, the hole has additionally the perimeter protrusion 6, for fastening the clip 4.

There are a number of passage holes 7 situated on the base surface 1 assigned fot taking the air from the outlet grid. The outer base 1 perimeter has the flange 8. The cover 2 is linked to the base 1 and is assigned for placing the decorative cap 3 as well as for closing the refreshing solid insert. The cover 2 is in the shape of the rounded corner annular 9 which ends into the perimeter recess 10 for placing and centring the cap 3. There are three stoppers 12 situated on the annular 11 perimeter of the cover 2 in its bottom part. The stoppers are used for measuring the mounting depth of the cap 3. The cover 2 has the parimeter chase 13 from the fastening side of the base 1, the flange 8 of the base 1 is pushed into the parimeter chase 13.

The exchangeable decorative cap 3 has at least two parimeter annulars 14 which are strengthened by using feathers 15 wherein the distance between the annulars 14 shows the passages 16 of the air outlet into the car's cabin. The cap 3 situated on the outer perimeter has preferably three holders 17 while placing of the cap using the spring properties, they enter under the annular 11 and rest on the stoppers 12. Clip 4 separated from the air refreshener is provided with the grip 18 to insert it into the air outlet grid members which ends with the pin 19 with the annular recess 20 to insert it into the passage hole 5 and fix it by the means of the protrusion 6 to the base 1.

Figures from 8 to 15 show some examples of the exchangeable decorative caps 3 without limiting the possibilities of creation any other models.
