Abstract:
Provided is an air purifier which can be manufactured at reduced manufacturing cost. This air purifier 1 is provided with: a housing 2 in which a suction opening 3 and discharge openings 4, 5 are formed; an air passage 8 connecting the suction opening 3 and the discharge openings 4, 5; a blower 10 disposed within the air passage 8; a pre-filter 6 (filter) disposed facing the suction opening 3; and a cleaning device 30 for cleaning the pre-filter 6. The cleaning device 30 has: a supply roller 40 having the sheet-like pre-filter 6 wound thereon; a winding roller 50 for winding the pre-filter 6; a drive motor 100 for rotationally driving the winding roller 50; a pressing section 70 having a spiral spring 75 which, during winding by means of the winding roller 50, presses the rotating shaft of the supply roller 40 in the direction opposite the winding direction; and a brush body 80 sliding on the pre-filter during the rotation of the winding roller 50.
