Abstract:

An air purifying filter includes an outer frame (2) and a filter assembly therein. The outer frame (2) and the filter assembly are fixed together with a high-temperature sealant/adhesive (5). The filter assembly includes a filter medium (3), a heating element (4), and one or more card combs (6). The heating element (4) receives electrical power or current through electrodes (1) that pass through and extend externally from the outer frame (2). The heating element (4) can heat the entire filter medium (3) using electricity, ensuring thorough and substantially complete deactivation of biological contaminants, dryness of the filter medium (3) during use, and an improved service life.
