Title:
ALKALINE-WATER ELECTROLYSIS APPARATUS AND GAS PRODUCTION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/181662
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides an alkaline-water electrolysis apparatus provided with: an electrolytic cell; a first gas-liquid separator that separates an electrolytic solution flowing out of an anode chamber and oxygen gas; a second gas-liquid separator that separates an electrolytic solution flowing out of a cathode chamber and hydrogen gas; first and second electrolytic-solution tanks that respectively store the electrolytic solutions separated by the first and second gas-liquid separators; an oxygen-gas blowing pipe and a hydrogen-gas blowing pipe that respectively guide the separated oxygen gas and hydrogen gas to gas phase regions of the first and second electrolytic-solution tanks; an oxygen-gas discharge pipe and a hydrogen-gas discharge pipe that respectively discharge the oxygen gas and the hydrogen gas from the gas phase regions of the first and second electrolytic-solution tanks; and a circulation device that supplies the electrolytic solutions to the electrolytic cell from the first and second electrolytic-solution tanks.
