Provided is a steering system equipped with a mechanical mechanism having a simple structure in which safety is ensured, such that it is possible to control the angle of left and right front wheels according to the vehicle speed and the steering instruction angle and improve the responsiveness of the vehicle to the steering command from an automatic steering driving device. This steering system (100) comprises: a first steering device (11) which is mechanically linked and steers left and right front wheels (9) by changing the angle of a suspension frame component (6); and a second steering device (150). The second steering device (150) changes the angle of the wheels (9) with respect to the suspension frame component (6) by driving an auxiliary steering actuator (5). The auxiliary steering control unit (151) of the second steering device (150) performs control so that the left and right front wheels (9) are turned on the basis of the steering instruction angle and the vehicle speed at a steering angle which is the difference between the steering angle determined by the numerical model of vehicle movement and the actual steering angle.
