Abstract:
An all-solid-state lithium-ion secondary battery comprises positive and negative electrodes capable of absorbing and releasing lithium ions and a solid electrolyte layer provided sandwiched between the positive and negative electrodes. In the all-solid-state lithium-ion secondary battery, at least one of the positive and negative electrodes is equipped with active material particles, solid electrolyte particles consisting of oxide particles capable of conducting lithium ions, and a collector. Especially, the solid electrolyte particles having different average particle diameters are used for the electrode. Particles having different average particle diameters result in having a particle diameter distribution having two or more peaks when being mixed.
This makes it possible to provide an all-solid-state battery having high rate characteristics.
