Abstract:

Provided is an aluminum alloy cladding material making it possible, when molded into a tube, to obtain a heat exchanger tube having an outer surface with excellent corrosion resistance. An aluminum alloy cladding material having a three-layer structure in which one surface of a core material is cladded with an inner skin material and the other surface is cladded with a sacrificial anode material, the core material being an Al-Mn-Cu alloy containing 0.6% to 2.0% of Mn and 0.03% to 1.0% of Cu with the remainder made up by aluminum and unavoidable impurities; the sacrificial anode material being an Al-Zn-Cu alloy containing 0.5% to 6.0% of Zn and 0.03% to 0.3% of Cu with the remainder made up by aluminum and unavoidable impurities; the inner skin material being an Al-Mn-Cu alloy containing 0.6% to 2.0% of Mn and 0.2% to 1.5% of Cu with the remainder made up by aluminum and unavoidable impurities; and the amounts of Cu in the core material, the inner skin material, and the sacrificial anode material being in a relationship (Cu% in sacrificial anode material) ≤ (Cu% in core material) ≤ (Cu% in inner skin material). The aluminum alloy cladding material may also have a two-layer structure comprising a core material and a sacrificial anode material.
