Abstract:
The present invention relates to an aluminum alloy material that comprises: an aluminum alloy base material; a first coating film that is formed on at least one portion of the surface of the aluminum alloy base material and that comprises an oxide of aluminum that includes silicon; and a second coating film that is formed on at least one portion of the first coating film and that includes a silane compound that has at least two hydrolyzable trialkoxysilyl groups in the molecule thereof, a hydrolyzate of the silane compound, or a polymer of the silane compound. The Si content of the first coating film is at least 15 at% but less than 80 at%, the Mg content of the first coating film is at least 0.1 at% but less than 30 at%, and the Cu content of the first coating film is restricted to less than 0.6 at%. The first coating film also contains 0.01-25 at% of at least one type of alkali metal element selected from among Na, K, and Li.
