Abstract:
This amphibious vehicle is equipped with: a vehicle body (7); a traveling unit (5) for causing the vehicle body to travel on land; a propelling unit (6) for causing the vehicle body to travel on water; a power unit (1) that provides power to the traveling unit and the propelling unit; and a cooling unit (10) for cooling the power unit. The cooling unit has a first cooling source introducing unit (13) that introduces air from outside; and a second cooling source introducing unit (14) that introduces water from outside. The second cooling source introducing unit has an opening (15) for introducing water. The opening opens into a draft portion of the outer surface of the vehicle body (7), rearwardly of the center of gravity (G) of the whole vehicle body (7).
