Abstract:
In order to provide an envelope tracking type amplifier having high efficiency and little variation, output equipment that supplies output regulated in accordance with an input signal to the power source terminal of the amplifier includes: an analogue amplification circuit that amplifies the input signal; a digital circuit that selectively outputs a first voltage and a second voltage lower than the first voltage; a first output circuit; and a second output circuit. The first output circuit includes: a first integration circuit that integrates the output of the digital circuit; and a synthesising section that outputs to the power source terminal of the amplifier a combination of the output of the first integration circuit and the output of the analogue amplification circuit. The second output circuit includes: a second integration circuit that integrates the output of the digital circuit; a resistor whereof a first end is connected to the output terminal of the second integration circuit and a second end is connected to the output terminal of the analogue amplification circuit; and a load that is connected to the output terminal of the second integration circuit. The digital circuit outputs the first voltage if the voltage at the first end of the resistor is lower than the voltage at the second end, and otherwise outputs the second voltage.
