Abstract:
The present invention realizes an analysis device that makes it possible to adjust the hold time of each stream in a plurality of HPLC streams, without adjusting pipe length, and makes it possible to determine separation column degradation, liquid feed problems and the like, without removing the pipes from the device. Air is sucked in from a sipper 109 and injected into detection channels 122, 123, and a hold time for when a baseline of a detector 125 fluctuates is stored in a control unit 130. The air in the detection channels 122, 123 for a stream 101 and a stream 102, respectively, is measured, the hold time for the stream 101 and that for the stream 102 are compared, and a determination is made as to whether there is a difference of one second or more between the hold times. If the hold times differ by one second or more, a correction is implemented. A comparison is made against hold time information stored in the control unit 130 for the same detection channels 122, 123 of the respective streams 101, 102, and a correction is made if the hold times differ by one second or more.
