Provided is an analyzer by which the quantity of a wasted reagent can be reduced and the time required for liquid feeding can be shortened to thereby increase the throughput of analysis. In the analyzer, the minimum quantity of a reagent required is sucked with a microsyringe into a sampling nozzle, said minimum quantity being almost the same as the capacity of a flow cell, and then the sampling nozzle is inserted into an injection port of the flow cell. Subsequently, the microsyringe is driven so that the reagent is injected into the flow cell. The sampling nozzle is washed by transferring the sampling nozzle to a washing tank, jetting washing water from the sampling nozzle to thereby wash the inside of the nozzle, and spouting washing water from the inner wall of the washing tank to thereby wash the outside of the nozzle.
