Abstract:
An angiographic catheter for administering a contrast medium to a blood vessel is disclosed. An angiography catheter according to an embodiment comprises: a shaft including a lumen through which a guide wire can pass along the longitudinal direction so that the shaft can be inserted into a blood vessel along the guide wire inserted into the blood vessel; and a hub coupled to the proximal part-side end of the shaft. At this time, the diameter of the lumen of the catheter is equal to or greater than the diameter of the guide wire by a predetermined size so that a contrast medium, which is injected from the hub in a state where the guide wire is inserted into the lumen, can reach the blood vessel after passing through a distal part of the shaft. For example, the diameter of the lumen of the catheter is greater than the diameter of the guide wire by 0.52-0.70 mm.
