Abstract:
Provided is an angular secondary battery having high reliability. This angular secondary battery (20) is provided with: an electrode (3) including a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate; an angular exterior body (1) having an opening and receiving the electrode (3); and a sealing plate (2) which seals the opening of the angular exterior body (1). As a first insulating member, an inner insulating member (12) is disposed between the sealing plate (2) and a negative electrode collecting member (8), and is fixed to the sealing plate (2). A second insulating member (80) disposed between the sealing plate (2) and the electrode assembly (3) is connected to an inner insulating member (12) serving as the first insulating member.
