Abstract:
Provided is an anisotropic light-diffusing film having a superior effect of improving viewing-angle dependency to the prior art for changes in color and luminance due to the viewing angle. This anisotropic light-diffusing film, for which the linear transmittance ((the amount of incident light transmitted in a linear direction)/(the amount of incident light)) changes in accordance with the light incidence angle, has a matrix region and a plurality of columnar regions the refractive index of which differs from that of the matrix region, further has one scattering central axis, and is characterized in that, in a tilted orientation of the scattering central axis, the linear transmittance for an incidence angle of 60° is 10% or less, and the diffuse transmittance in a polar angle 60° direction for light with an incidence angle of 0° is 0.001% or greater.
