Title:
ANTI-INFLAMMATION AGENT FOR INTRAOCULAR APPLICATIONS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/090425
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an anti-inflammation agent for intraocular applications, which can prevent an excessive inflammation in an interocular tissue. The anti-inflammation agent comprises an ERK-activating agent. The problem can also be solved by an anti-inflammation agent for intraocular applications, which comprises at least one component selected from the group consisting of active sulfur molecules respectively represented by general formulae (1) and (2) and derivatives of the active sulfur molecules. R1S(S)nH ・・・(1) (In formula (1), R1 represents a L-cysteine (Cys), homocysteine (HCys) or glutathione (GSH) moiety other than a thiol group; and n represents an integer of 1 or more.) R2S(S)n+1R3 ・・・(2) (In formula (2), R2 and R3 independently represent a L-cysteine (Cys), homocysteine (HCys) or glutathione (GSH) moiety other than a thiol group; and n represents an integer of 1 or more.)
