Abstract:
The present invention provides: an external preparation composition including lidocaine lactate that is composed of lidocaine and a lactic acid component, and diclofenac or a salt thereof, wherein the lactic acid component is composed of a lactic acid and an alkaline-earth metal salt or an alkali metal salt of lactic acid; and an external preparation that demonstrates excellent transdermal absorption of both lidocaine and diclofenac, that realizes cutaneous permeability suitable for clinical use, and further, that exhibits improved storage stability and safety, allowing for a long shelf life.
