Abstract:

The purpose of the invention is to make it possible to manufacture, at extremely low cost, a molding plate for manufacturing an anti-reflection article, and thereby provide, at extremely low cost, an anti-reflection article having sufficient anti-reflection performance and the like. A method for manufacturing a molding plate (5A) for manufacturing an anti-reflection article used for the manufacture of an anti-reflection article (1A) having formed thereon an anti-reflection surface in which minute convex parts or minute concave parts are disposed in close proximity to each other and the spacing between adjacent minute convex parts and minute concave parts is equal to or less than the shortest wavelength of the wavelength band for which reflection is to be prevented, the method being provided with: a step for pressing the anti-reflection surface (3) of another anti-reflection article (1) against the surface of a receiving layer (4) containing a curable base (40) and thereby molding concave/convex shapes on the surface of the receiving layer (4); and a step for curing the receiving layer (4) molded with the concave/convex shapes.
