Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for testing Helicobacter pylori infection at a higher sensitivity by sensitively detecting catalase of Helicobacter pylori in a biological sample. More specifically, the present invention pertains to an immunoassay method for detecting Helicobacter pylori in a biological sample, said method comprising using an antibody or a fragment thereof that is against both a modified Helicobacter pylori catalase and native catalase as an antigen and reacts with a specific amino acid sequence in the antigen.
