Abstract:
Provided is an antifouling coating composition which, over a long period in seawater, can maintain a stable coating film dissolution rate and maintain a stable antifouling performance without suffering any coating film abnormalities such as cracking. The present invention provides an antifouling coating composition containing a copolymer A, a polyester resin C, and an antifouling chemical agent D, wherein: the copolymer A is a copolymer of the monomer (a) represented by general formula (1) and an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (b) other than the monomer (a); and the monomer (a) includes a compound in which n in general formula (1) is equal to or greater than 2.
