Title:
ANTIMALARIAL DRUG, MALARIA TREATMENT METHOD, SCREENING METHOD FOR CANDIDATE SUBSTANCES FOR MALARIA TREATMENT, MARKER OF MALARIA SEVERITY, AND METHOD AND TEST REAGENT FOR TESTING RISK OF SEVERE MALARIA
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/107387
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a novel antimalarial drug. This antimalarial drug is characterized by containing a binding inhibitor that inhibits binding of RIFIN proteins to leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor subfamily B member 1 (LILRB1) protein, an inducer of said binding inhibitor, or an RIFIN or LILRB1 expression inhibitor.
