Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus which is for controlling a rotary electric machine, and which, for a rotary electric machine having a plurality of sets of winding coils, can appropriately control the voltages of the respective sets of winding coils within a range of a direct current power voltage or less. With respect to each set, this apparatus (1) for controlling a rotary electric machine calculates a necessary direct current voltage which is a minimum direct current power voltage, which is necessary to apply a voltage responding to a voltage command value to a winding coil on the basis of the voltage command value, calculates one common necessary direct current voltage (Vnecm), which is common to all the sets, on the basis of the necessary direct current voltages of all the sets, changes a common voltage control value (Vrev) such that the common necessary direct current voltage (Vnecm) approaches a direct current power voltage (VB), and changes direct current command values of each set on the basis of the common voltage control value (Vrev).
