Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for crushing and sorting corn, which automates the entire process of removing husks of dried corn, crushing the corn, sorting the corn by size, and discharging the corn, thereby significantly increasing productivity. The apparatus comprises: a mill which primarily crushes corn and removes husks of the corn by means of rotation and friction between the corn fed through a hopper; a grinder which secondarily crushes the primarily crushed corn by means of a crushing blade; a lift which transfers the corn primarily crushed by the mill to the top of the grinder; a sorter which sorts the secondarily crushed corn by size and discharges same; a blower which suctions and discharges dust generated in the mill and the sorter; a driving member comprising a first motor for driving the mill and the blower, and a second motor for driving the grinder, the lift, and the sorter; a module frame in which the mill, the grinder, the sorter, the lift, the blower, and the driving member are all installed; and a cover member which is formed to be divided into left and right so as to protect the devices installed thereinside.
