Title:
APPARATUS FOR DETECTING MICROORGANISM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/093295
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An apparatus for detecting a microorganism, comprising a sugar-adding mechanism (30) for adding sugar to a test solution that may include a microorganism, a fixing-agent-adding mechanism (80) for adding a fixing agent for fixing a microorganism in the sugar-added test solution, a light source (10) for irradiating excitation light into the test solution to which sugar and a fixing agent has been added, and a fluorescence detection unit (102) for detecting fluorescence produced by the test solution thus irradiated with excitation light.
