Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for exchanging a terminal forming die device with which it is possible to exchange a reel and the terminal forming die device collectively by a movement in a direction orthogonal to a conveyance line and for which the installation area can be made as small as possible. An apparatus for exchanging a terminal forming die device is built in a conveyance line that conveys end sections of wires. The apparatus is provided with exchange racks each of which comprises: an exchange frame further comprising a support base section that is movable in a direction that intersects with the conveyance line; a terminal forming die device that is supported to be rotatable, with respect to the support base section, between a standby posture along the moving direction of the support base section and a working posture along the conveyance line; and a reel support section that is provided on the exchange frame and that supports a terminal reel to be rotatable with a posture along the moving direction of the support base section.
