Abstract:
Provided are an apparatus for manufacturing a laminated fiber body and a method for manufacturing a laminated fiber body which can easily and reliably manufacture a laminated fiber body in which a fiber layer in which only fibers are accumulated and a mixture layer in which water absorbing polymers are dispersed in the accumulated fibers are laminated. Into a laminated fiber recess (22) which is formed on an outer peripheral surface (20s) of a rotating drum (20), fibers are supplied from a first opening (32) and fibers and water absorbing polymers are supplied from a second opening (42). The first opening (32) and the second opening (42) are disposed along the outer peripheral surface (20s) of the rotating drum (20) with a gap (18) provided in the circumferential direction.
