Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for controlling blasting of a detonator on the basis of a danger radius, the apparatus comprising: a danger radius setting unit which sets a danger radius for a detonator or a communication module; a blasting area setting unit which sets a blasting area reflecting a preset danger radius in a location value input when the detonator or the communication module is registered; an equipment location identification unit which identifies the location of equipment owned by a worker; and a blasting start control unit which controls the detonator to be able to blast only when the equipment is not located within the set blasting area, as a result of the identification.
