Abstract:
The present invention provides an apparatus for detecting network congestion based on a destination node, which receives service data transmitted from a source node, and a method for detecting network congestion based on a destination node. Particularly, the apparatus for detecting network congestion based on a destination node, according to one embodiment of the present invention, extracts physical information of an electrical signal received from an antenna of the destination node, extracts the size of a payload of a MAC frame from the MAC frame after the extracted physical information is converted into the MAC frame, extracts the size of the service data included in the payload of the MAC frame, generates comparison result data by comparing the size of the payload and the size of the service data, and then determines whether the network has congestion by comparing the comparison result data and a pre-set threshold value.
