Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for protecting a MOSFET relay by using a voltage detector and a signal fuse, wherein a voltage value is calculated by detecting, through a voltage detector, the value of a current flowing through a MOSFET relay provided in a vehicle battery main circuit, and when the calculated voltage value exceeds a predetermined threshold value, a signal fuse is operated to prevent a current from being applied to the MOSFET relay, whereby the MOSFET relay can be protected from burnout.
