Abstract:
Provided are an electronic device and a method for replacing and outputting an advertisement. An electronic device may comprise: a memory for storing at least one program; a communication unit for receiving, from at least one external apparatus, context data used to determine a user's state; and a processor for replacing and outputting an advertisement by executing the at least one program, wherein the at least one program comprises instructions for executing the steps of: acquiring, from the received context data, user state information indicating a user's state on the basis of a learning model using at least one neural network; and controlling to replace a predetermined first advertisement by a second advertisement determined on the basis of the user state information, and output the second advertisement.
