The objective of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for opening and closing an entrance, comprising: first and second handle portions, which are coupled to one side and the other side of a door and installed so as to be pushed or pulled; a movable member of which one end is coupled to the first handle portion, and the other end is coupled to the second handle portion by penetrating through the inside of a door lock housing that is installed inside the door, and which moves horizontally by the pushing and pulling of the handle portions; a rotatable member, of which one end portion is rotatably coupled to a rotary shaft that is installed on one side of the movable member, and the other end portion is latched onto the movable member, so as to rotate with the rotary shaft at the center when the movable member moves horizontally; an operating member which moves in a direction perpendicular to the direction of movement of the movable member by latching onto the rotatable member that rotates; a latch portion of which one end is fixed to the operating member so as to protrude to the outer side of the door or to be inserted into the inside of the door as the operating member moves; and a recovery spring which is wound on the rotary shaft, and of which one end is fixed to an inner wall of the door lock housing and the other end is fixed to the other end portion of the rotatable member, so as to be compressed when the rotatable member rotates and then recovering the rotatable member to a state prior to the rotation, when external force that rotates the rotatable member is removed. According to the present invention, the door is opened by pushing or pulling a handle of the door in the direction of opening, thereby effectively increasing convenience and practicality for a user, and improving ease of assembly and productivity by a simplified structure. figure 3
