Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus for reducing greenhouse gas emission in a ship, the apparatus comprising: a seawater supply unit (110) for supplying seawater; an absorption liquid preparation unit (120) for preparing and supplying a high-concentration CO2 absorption liquid; an absorption tower (130) with a CO2 removal unit (131) which cools exhaust gas, discharged from a shipping engine (10), by reaction with seawater supplied from the seawater supply unit (110) and converts CO2 into an aqueous solution of an ammonium salt by reaction between the cooled exhaust gas and the absorption liquid from the absorption liquid preparation unit (120), thereby removing CO2; and an absorption liquid regeneration part including a primary regeneration unit (140) and a secondary regeneration unit (150), the primary regeneration unit primarily regenerating the absorption liquid by reaction of the aqueous solution of the ammonium salt discharged from the absorption tower (130) with an aqueous solution of a divalent metal hydroxide, the second regeneration unit secondarily regenerating a high-concentration absorption liquid by reaction of an aqueous solution of a divalent metal hydroxide with an aqueous solution of an unreacted ammonium salt from the primary regeneration unit (140) and circulating the high-concentration absorption liquid to the absorption tower (130) to allow the high-concentration absorption liquid to be reused as an absorption liquid, so that the recovery rate of the absorption liquid can be increased to result in the maintenance of the absorption liquid at a predetermined concentration, thereby preventing the deterioration in absorption performance.
