An apparatus for verifying the performance of an intelligent electronic device according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a configuration module for receiving, as an input, a configuration file for an intelligent electronic device, which includes internal data and external data of the intelligent electronic device, and controlling configuration of a communication environment; a signal detection module for communicating with the intelligent electronic device so as to allow the intelligent electronic device to configure a signal processing environment on the basis of the internal data; a high-speed signal generation module for configuring an external signal communication environment of the intelligent electronic device on the basis of the external data, generating a high-speed signal on the basis of the external signal communication environment, and transmitting the same to the intelligent electronic device; and a response signal reception module for receiving a response signal to the high-speed signal from the intelligent electronic device.
