Abstract:
The preset invention relates to the technical field of biology. Disclosed are an application of cepharanthine in the preparation of ex vivo expansion culture medium of hematopoietic stem cells and/or ex vivo expansion of the hematopoietic stem cells, and a cepharanthine-containing culture medium and method for expanding cord blood hematopoietic stem cells. According to present invention, an ex vivo expansion culture medium is composed of multiple appropriate components and cepharanthine, and the expansion effect can be obviously improved during ex vivo expansion of hematopoietic stem cells, so that the hematopoietic stem cells has the characteristics of high stemness and high activity.
