Abstract:
An application control method, an apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring in a terminal control application information of a local control application which is to be connected to a target connection application (201); on the basis of the control application information, determining a target control application (202); by means of the target connection application, sending to the target control application security certification information of the target connection application (203); on the basis of the security certification information, establishing a secure communication connection between the target connection application and the target control application (204); and, by means of the target control application, controlling the target connection application on the basis of the secure communication connection (205). In the application control method, the target control application in an Internet of Things device can be connected to the target connection application in the Internet of Things device, and the target connection application is controlled by means of the target control application, so that a user can conveniently control the Internet of Things device, and user experience is improved.
