Title:
AQUAPONICS SYSTEM AND AQUATIC ANIMAL REARING METHOD AND PLANT CULTIVATION METHOD USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/138269
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To rear aquatic animals and cultivate plants by liquid circulation using cultivation beds arranged in two or more stages, and to provide a closed plant cultivation system. [Solution] This aquaponics system is provided with a raising tank as a raising system and cultivation beds as a cultivation system. In the cultivation system, the cultivation beds are arranged in two or more stages in the vertical direction. The aquaponics system is provided with a raising/cultivation circulation system which supplies a liquid in the raising tank to each cultivation bed and returns the liquid in the cultivation beds to the raising tank to cause raising tank-to-cultivation bed-to-raising tank circulation. The liquid circulating in the circulation path allows aquatic animals to be raised in the raising tank and plants to be cultivated on the cultivation beds. The aquaponics system may be provided with both a cultivation circulation system for water tank-to-cultivation bed-to-water tank circulation and a raising circulation system for raising tank-to-cultivation bed-to-raising tank circulation.
